Judicial elections are this fall, and a long-time assistant district attorney is asking voters to send her from the bar to the bench.
Monique Metoyer has officially announced she’s a candidate for the seat being vacated by Donald Johnson in the Rapides Parish 9th Judicial District.
And another long-time assistant district attorney, Bob Levy, announces his candidacy for judge, also in Rapides Parish 9th Judicial District Court. Levy has run the parish’s child support enforcement program.
He’s seeking a seat on the bench being vacated by Harry Rando. This election is November 4th.
