19 Arrested in LaSalle Drug Round-Up

LaSalle deputies announce a drug round-up netting some 19 arrests.

Sheriff Scott Franklin called the operation Fielder’s Choice because, he says, he warned drug users years ago they had 3 choices: they could quit, leave the parish, or go to jail.

He says his deputies have worked on these cases for several months, and they include persons aged 27 to 60, from all over the parish and 17 are facing the more serious distribution charges.
