17th Annual Alexandria Invitational Benefitting the National Kidney Foundation of LA

KidneyFoundationLAAlexandria, Louisiana – On Friday, October 25, 2013 over 150 golfers and supporters will take to the golf course for the 17th Annual Alexandria Invitational benefitting the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana and help raise awareness and funds to support the fight against kidney disease in Alexandria.  The tournament is in a four-man scramble format that promotes a competitive, but fun, environment for golfers on all levels. The event will be held at OakWing Golf Club in Alexandria, Louisiana. Onsite registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and the tee off is at 1:00 p.m.

“This tournament is about making sure that those who suffer from or are at risk of kidney disease get the support and education needed,” said Dr. Trevor From, Lafayette Committee Chairman.  “By participating in the 17th Annual Alexandria Invitational, we’re all helping raise important funds for over 8700 Louisiana dialysis patients and 460,000 individuals living with chronic kidney disease.”

17th Annual Alexandria Invitational is sponsored CHRISTUS St. Cabrini Hospital, Rapides Regional Medical Center, Southern Chevrolet – Cadillac, and Southwest Beverage Company.
