Rashad Bristo, is the first person in the state of Louisiana and the country to graduate from a police academy despite being born with one arm. He has worked as a deputy sheriff and juvenile officer.
Today, he brought his message to the kids of Cloutierville about being bitter or better.
Bristo says that past experiences and setbacks can cause us to be bitter. But being better is realizing that your past experiences aren’t stumbling blocks, but stepping stones to elevate you into a greater future.
